It worked that way up until I hit 12747 miles on the bike and then the controller quite working. Then I replaced it with it with a Bolton 35 amp controller and problem went away. I now have 15250 miles and bike is running great. I don't know if the throttle worked when that happened or not.

Watch out what you hook up to the upgraded 35 amp controller on the lighting circuit. I have read that anything brighter than the small stock headlight will fry the controller. Even the upgraded Rad light is to much. Contact Area 13 for more info.

Service & Repair / Re: RadCity battery not charging

I was told you should wait an hour, before charging the battery after a ride. Battery is in draw mode and should rest before charging.

After 12,747 miles on my Rover ST1, the original controller quit working. I installed the Bolton 35amp. upgrade kit and I'm back on the rode again.  There's suppose to be a cruise control option with this upgrade, but I don't know how to activate it. I have C7 set at 1 for cruise on. The instructions I found online from Big Game Bikes states that if this feature is activated, holding the up arrow button when riding will set the cruise control at your current speed. When I try that, all that happens is my lights turn on or off. Can anyone help me get this feature working. I called Area 51 and they said they would get back to me but it hasn't happened in the last 3 days. I hope someone here can help me out. Thanks in advance

Make sure the plastic rim liner is centered on the rim and the edges of the liner aren't bent up, so that the tube rubs on the sharp edge of the liner. I had that happen once and it put a cut in the tube not round hole puncture. I covered the liner with gorilla tape. No problem since.

ChopChop, that rubber nut cover comes off by pushing the motor plug through it and then pushing the plug through the drilled out tool after removing the rubber boot.   You can also order a tool right from rad, that already has a slice cut out of it already.
