Title: Battery repair
Post by: CBS Dude on August 24, 2023, 09:33:24 AM
I have an older RPB battery in need of repair.  It uses a round 2-pin connector.  While going through a testing procedure, I managed to damage one of the the pin receivers on the female side of the connector pair (on the battery).  Can someone point me in the right direction for obtaining a new matching connector so I don't have to replace both the battery side AND the bike side to get things moving again.  Please don't say "Contact Rad Power"; that's totally worthless at present.  I'm trying to get this resolved yet this riding season...

That doesn't look correct to me for the battery he has.  Of course I could be wrong.  But I did work on my cradle and battery recently and I don't recall it looking anything like that.

Contact Area13.  If they don't have it they can direct you.  They are very helpful.  Call them or email them.  Just searching their website you might not find what you need.

Best of luck I feel you not biking when you want.  I was down a week waiting for parts when I did a battery repair and cradle connector repair.
