I'm new to Rad. Have they always had this problem with accesories being out of stock? I'm on the emai notification list for a Rover rear rack and got no notifications that the rear racks were in stock. I found out through the forum. When I checked, out of stock again. Seems like you almost have to check the web site every day or miss the boat.
hi bob!
due to the popularity of the rad power bikes and associated accessories you'll find that the most sought after items go out of stock on a regular basis...but are usually quickly re-stocked for the next run. i usually just bookmark the desired accessory page and check availability on a regular basis.

yeah, I've been hoping to get a front rack, but i don't know what the timelines are looking like. i heard that the Canadian site has been even worse for stocking things than the American one
I was looking for an ABUS RadCity bike locck that was out of stock. I put in my email for notification. I did receive an email when they were in stock.
My guess is that at some point in the winter months they will catch up. From my experience there have always been some accessories that commonly go out of stock but you didn't used to have to hound the site. Be sure to signup for their emails, sometimes they send mass updates on available accessories. The notifications are helpful but it seems hit and miss.

I have a Rover 5 and just got tired of waiting for the rear rack to be available. I bought and just received today a Ibera bike rack from Amazon and am super delighted with it. Easy to install, I really like the looks and how it fits, it's construction and I particularly liked the price, $38.00. You also have to buy an extension for the brake light and then mount the Rad rear light to the rack. Took me all of about fifteen minutes. If you want, I can take some photos of it tomorrow so you can see how it's mounted on the RAD. The links are below.....

Be sure to order the blue color, (4 pin) with a 60cm/600mm length.... you will have about four inches to play with depending how you route it.

Thank You George. A picture would be great.

The system Rad uses for notifications seems to be broken.
All four of the items I wanted were out of stock, and I've been waiting since before I received my bike.
I've since bought alternatives for the rack, headlight, suspension seat post, and phone holder. The rack and phone holder are now available from Rad, but I like my versions better now, especially the rack which is stronger and adds balance to the visual proportions of the RadMini.

Bob,
Here are two photos. After several attempts I have managed to reduce the size of the photo so the system can accept them... if you need more, send me a PM with your email and I will send you some more.
George
I got the email that they were back in stock and ordered two immediately thinking they wouldn't last long. Also they refunded me 32.00 for shipping because at the time I ordered, I hadn't received my bikes yet. BTW received my Radrover 5 Wednesday and wow, this thing is better than I thought it would be.

I bought the same rack from Amazon in 2020. The rack has been fine with no issues. I just bought another rack for my Trek bike. I can switch my panniers bags and trunk bag between the two bikes in less than a minute.
