Handlebar mitts
« on: July 20, 2021, 12:49:21 PM »
It seems like there are so many things that don’t work with the RR and RR+. The handlebar mitts was especially disappointing for me. Also, it seems like the mitts should fit fine on it.

Anyway, does anyone have a good alternative? I may just try to buy Rad’s and see if I can make them fit and if it doesn’t work I can put them on my wife’s bike.

Those things seem kind of dangerous if you're signaling a turn with your hand and then need to get it back in there in a hurry to grab the brakes.  Why not just use gloves?  I've been commuting on a vintage moped the last 13 years and even a thin pair of leather gloves is plenty warm at 30mph as long as it's not below 35f.

Yeah it gets into the negatives where I’m at in the winter. Also, I just use my bike for a short commute mostly where there are very few turns

I just saw that you can get usb heated gloves for as cheap as $8.99 on amazon, that might work for you?

I’m pretty picky I guess. I have good gloves already it’s just another thing I have to remember all the time. So I would really like the handlebar mitts. Thanks for the advice though

They make those things for dual sport motorcycles. I would look for them on a site like Revzilla or Rocky Mountain ATV. you can also buy hand guards that would definitely fit the RR. You could get a plain pair for under $20 in pretty much any color your heart desires.
Here’s a pair of mitts for $15
