I'm gonna go to the Rad Bike Shop in 2 weeks , don't want to repair at my local shop.
The thing is that i have to make arrangements to go to the Rad Bike shop.
It's a 2 houre drive for me to go there.
Just hope the guys at Rad can repair...

Today i went on investigation for the metal/abrasive sound that my brand new Rad Rhino 6+ is making.
I noticed that one of the 6 bolts that connect the rear brake disc is lose and it does not get tighten.
My guess is that the thread is broken or damaged.

That was the signal that i will go to the shop at Utrecht Holland and let the mechanics do the rest.
So i think i got a bike that has a manufacturing problem from the factory out.

I hope they can fix this , but i rather have a total new bike.
How is the warranty on this ?
Anyone know ?
I had my first complaint within 14 days...

Service & Repair / Rhino 6+ abrasive sound...motor ?
March 20, 2022, 07:21:47 AM
Hi Rad-bikers ,

I just bought a Rad Rhino 6+ and a Rad Rhino 6+ ST for the misses.
The bikes are from the Rad Power Bike Store at Utrecht/Holland.
So these bikes are EU models with the 250w motor... :-\
Still...they are awesome bikes and we love to ride.

Last week my wife was riding aside me and she heard a scratching/abrasive sound at the middle/back of my bike.
The sound is there when i'm pedaling or not pedaling , not every step , but almost every stem/pedal.
I set the bike on his kickstand and i think it was located at middle/rear.
When i shut the bike of and pedal when bike is off , there is no abrasive sound.
I guess the sound comes from the motor...

First i thought it was the brakes so i went to my local bikeshop and they adjust the rear brakes/caliper.
That was not the problem/sound.

Anyone has this "problem" ?

video+sound attached (no virus)

Rad Rhino 6+ EU 250w version only goes to 32km/h with the extra menu and i cannot find to increase wattage from 250w to 500w or 750w.

All in all a great bike !

i just bought our RR6+ here at the Rad Power Bikes shop in Holland.
I liv in Belgium and my local bikeshop/mechanic told me is not a problem to bring the bikes for maintenance , and if there where parts to replace , i could order them online and bring the parts to him.
That's what i call service.
