Rad Modifications / Re: Electronic deraileur

Fair point. The main reason I haven?t pulled the trigger on one. Hoping price drops. My stock shifter is too stiff to shift with my thumb, have to use the heal of my hand to change gears.

Has anybody installed or considered an electronic deraileur for their rad powerbike?

RadCity / Re: New to eBikes but Excited to Get started

Congrats on your new Radcity! I have an '18 city that I love. I ride on paved, hard packed dirt, grass and red shale trails in Southern Alberta with no problem. It's no good in soft sand, mud or snow. You are going to love your bike.

RadCity / Re: RadCity 5 on light trails

I have owned my Radcity for 3 years and have 6300 Kim's on it. I ride on pavement plus packed dirt and red shale trails with no problem. No snow, mud or sand. I think a lot of the fat tire riders in my city buy them for looks and not mud and snow. Nothing wrong with that but the Radcity is great for any surface other than mud, snow and sand.

Try 2 months waiting for headlight upgrade that was said to be in stock. No tracking number. Was told they'd notify me when shipped, nothing beyond that.

Don't get to excited for the headlight upgrade. I got it and it kinda sucks. No way it's worth $49.

Thanks for the heads up. Just cancelled the order.

Was wondering if anybody has noticed this and if there is a fix. It must not be a snug fit even when the battery is locked on the mount.

General Chat / Re: Introduce yourself!

Hello, everyone. Ken here from Medicine Hat, Alberta. I own (and love) a 2018 Rad City. Lots of great cycling paths here in the Hat. This bike is a life changer. I'm on it almost every day even in the winter unless the paths are icy. It's nice to see more and more people riding ebikes. I've yet to meet someone who bought an ebike and didn't like it.

This pump is very handy and compact.
