Title: Battery shot- what unit pack power battery
Post by: Jtimcoe on September 04, 2023, 06:36:00 PM
Hi alll, my battery on my rad city 4 is cooked. Had it tested and it?s done. I am looking at the unit pack power replacement but struggling to find the one with correct connector pin scheme. OEM battery is 48v 14ah 672 wh) battery. Does anyone know the model to buy where the pins for the connectors will be same as the rad connector.? Pin is different than on original.  Would prefer getting it off Amazon.

May be no such model. My UPP came with Anderson plugs, but I found an Anderson-to-Rad cable that did the trick. See my post here:

Do you have the original battery pack that attaches to the frame rather than in it?  How do you know the battery is shot?  Does it charge?  Does it have a green light when charged? I know this sounds silly about a bad battery.  But I had the connectors on the battery and the battery cradle were bad.  Once I replaced both I was back up and running again.  Mine was burned.  Had an odor but not electrical.  And it was difficult to remove the battery.

This is what I replaced....

Maybe this is your concern.  Good Luck.
