Title: Bracket blocks movement of derailleur
Post by: Jimws on July 30, 2021, 06:43:37 PM
The bracket installed on my new Radcity ST blocked movement of the derailleur not allowing me to shift into gears 6 or 7.  As evidenced in the photo the cable's retention allen screw hits the bracket assembly.  The bracket has no marks or apparent damage, but either it's a wrong bracket or has been damaged.  I removed the safety bracket & the bike shifts great thru all gears in both directions.

I spoke w/Rad CS & sent them photos so hopefully I'll have a response & hopefully a part soon.

Used to be the #1 reported shipping damage problem on new Rads, varies slightly by model, haven't seen it mentioned so much here lately though. My Mini was creamed way worse than your City. It's not that hard to straighten the bracket in a vise if you don't want to wait for a new one.
