couldn't find the $100 discount code but efneo offers a $50 discount when using the code "gtr50" at checkout.

when choosing your gearbox which options did you choose for "shifter" and "chain / belt"?

thanks!

I am quite confused, people who bought Radrunner plus received passenger seat and foot pegs but i did not. Maybe someone from Radrunner can enlighten us?

what color is your bike?

would likely be quicker to check with local bike shops.

I just bought a new one and I think it supposed to move without pedaling on PAS0 mode?

no, pedal assist mode 0 is no motor assist - zero power assist even if you pedal.

Ive only had my bike about 4-5 months and I decided to try and add the upgrades I got with the bike and Ive had one hex screw strip so not sure what Im going to do about that yet but then this happened.

Take a look at the pictures.
Is this something I can bring to a repair person and they'd be able to easily replace?

Thanks for your time.

i believe that part is known as the "chain tensioner"...

should be very easy to replace by any bike shop.

rad should be able to tell you whether it's an industry standard part, not proprietary...bike shop should be able to tell also.

Hi Kara! I like the design, and it strikes a nice balance by not being plain or overly complicated. It's refreshing and to the point. The designs do seem focused on two groups though, and I don't completely fit either one. I do ride actual mountain bike trails with my RadMini, but I tend to think of myself as a free rider who is just at home on pavement or in parks and beaches. Maybe a third design that says "Radical Rider"? That way people can be specific, or just be RAD in general 😊

Paul

Hey Paul! Thank you for the positive remarks. You are right...these two categories are not inclusive. I like the Rad Rider idea! I will create this version too. I can see using the Be RAD on a future design. Thanks again. I appreciate it!

i like the "rad rider" option. will be looking to purchase a shirt and hoodie from this line as soon as available.

I don't learn quickly or listen sometimes, but I just ordered the "redesigned" Cascade Topeak plate. The one wkindred gave a bad review. I guess I'll see when mine arrives. Wonder if they (Cascade) really did redesign it? I actually ordered it for the 'Mini. I'll let the new owner test it. I still have my SHAD motorcycle trunk on my 'Runner but I would like a bit more flexibility.

good luck! hopefully the quality of the "redesigned" model is better than the version 1 that i had reviewed (https://www.radowners.com/index.php?topic=358.msg3531#msg3531).

i really wanted to like and use the cascade product but the quality of version 1 was sub-standard...at best.

the "redesigned" model does, in fact, look redesigned. (see comparison photo - multi-piece version 1 on the left, "redesigned" one-piece version on the right).

may still order a redesigned plate...but i'll wait until i see your review(s).

Brand new bike.

Bike standing still, I have three bars.  Under power, it lowers to 1 bar.

Is this normal?

was the battery charged prior to first use?

The cycle sight looks interesting, but if it is valuable or not depends on how it records. From the website, it seems to record frames like a timelapse instead of a smooth video. We won't know for sure until the unit is reviewed and playback is tested. Smooth playback would be useful for content creators. I already have a review camera, but it doesn't record.

For recording in the front, there are several options like handlebar camera mounts. There are several inexpensive action cameras, but video stabilization is usually missing or terrible. If you are only using the video for a safety record in case of accident, then these will be fine. I tried the Akaso EK7000, and the video was terrible. I upgraded to the Pro version for stabilization, and the stabilization was not half as good as an old HTC RE periscope camera. I ended up getting an actual GoPro, and using it with a chest harness or a frame mount. Below is a photo of it on the front of my RadMini using the rack mounts. A GUB 609 Bicycle Handlebar Stem Mount was "opened up" a bit for the larger screws, and the GoPro Hero 8 Black mounts directly to it.

i like the "GUB 609 Bicycle Handlebar Stem Mount". ordered one to use on my radrunner.

the instability you mention i find odd.

i've had a radrunner 1 since april 2020 that both my son and i ride. i'm constantly telling my son to get his hands on the grips during our rides since he like to ride hands-free. during one of our rides he actually was able to ride no hands for over 3 miles on winding trails - longer had i not been nagging him, i'm sure.

You should be able to use the original seat post, unless you have a RadRunner. I use a Cloud 9 Cruiser Select Airflow on my RadMini with a suspension post, but it worked with the original seat post just as well.

If you have the RadRunner, you will need to replace the post and use an adapter shim if I recall correctly.

no shim needed if a 27.2mm seat post is used with the radrunner 1.
