the charger has an xt60 female connector installed but comes with an additional male xt60 connector for fabricating your own charge adapter.
Ah, thanks for the correction. The website shows the male connector, without explaining that it is the extra.

you're welcome! wasn't sure myself so had to actually look at my charger.

Wow, I just looked up Massachusetts e-bike laws, and they are harsh!

"E-bike riders must carry a driver's license and are subject to registration requirements. No one under 16 years of age can use an e-bike. E-bikes are prohibited from all bike paths, as well as all sidewalks, regardless of local context."

wow, glad i live in iowa -

"In Iowa, an e-bike is defined as a "bicycle," so long as the ebike's motor is under 750w, with a top motor-assisted speed of
20 mph under motor power alone, and with fully operable pedals.

The same rules of the road apply to both e-bikes and humanpowered bicycles.

E-bikes are not subject to the registration, licensing or insurance
requirements that apply to motor vehicles.

Helmets are not required and there is no age minimum for e-bike
use. E-bikes are allowed on sidewalks and bike paths".

Per handout, "In many states, e-bikes are regulated under antiquated laws primarily aimed at combustion engine vehicles such as mopeds or scooters.

PeopleForBikes and the Bicycle Product Suppliers Association are clarifying state laws governing the use of e-bikes in the U.S.

Every state's law is different, but the objective is to ensure that low-speed e-bikes are regulated similarly to traditional, human-powered bicycles."

Thanks for the advice and sounds like the bikes are reliable.  The juiced hyper Scorpion is kind of what I'm looking for.  I've been looking into ebike laws and the state I'm in, Massachusetts, treat them as mopeds that require registration.  That includes any ebike since they have a motor. Not sure how much that is enforced though since I've only been here for 6 months.  I can't imagine being hassled if you keep speeds under 20mph.  I did see a group of yahoo's over the summer in Boston on dirt bikes and quads. I'm sure a middle age guy on a cargo bike wouldn't turn heads.

i've been riding a black rad power radrunner 1 since april and purchased a juiced hyperscorpion in august. love both bikes - both are definitely attention getters...but the flashy electric blue hyperscorpion seems to attract the most attention...and inquiries. never had any law enforcement look twice...save the times they wanted to know where to buy one.

@ wkindred
That Luna charger is exactly what I was looking for. Just so I can find the right adapter for my battery, is the terminal end of the Luna charger a XT60 male or female fitting.
Thanks again.

The XT60 connector on the charger shown on the Luna website is male.

the charger has an xt60 female connector installed but comes with an additional male xt60 connector for fabricating your own charge adapter.

the charger comes with an additional xt60 connector to allow you to make your own charge adapter...

another good charger option (when in stock) -

https://www.eco-ebike.com/collections/chargers/products/48v-advanced-300w-eco-charger-1-to-5a-80-90-100

this charger also has the adjustable amp charge rates (1 to 5 amps) and 80% / 90% / 100% adjustable charge limit.

again, you'll need to add your own xt60 to 5.5mm barrel style charge connector.

(i use the 52v model of this charger to charge my juiced hyperscorpion - would recommend)...

Hello I have the same proplem with my Kickstand being to short after adding front Suspension. How did you add to length of your Kickstand? How did you make it work? Thanks

i had my son tack-weld large steel nuts to the bottom of kickstand legs. works great!

i've been using this $100 advanced 300w charger for the last 6 months with my radrunner 1. charger has adjustable amp charge rates (1 to 5 amps) and 80% / 90% / 100% adjustable charge limit  -

you'll need to add your own xt60 to 5.5mm barrel style charge connector.

the charger seems to work quite well - would recommend!

another good smart pump option is Bolton's "Super Portable Electric Bike Pump" -

i have this horn / alarm mounted on my radrunner...added to a friend's radrunner also.

removed the stock mount from the horn / alarm.

bolted horn / alarm to a flat kydex plate and attached kydex plate with 2 of the 4 bolts on front of frame (see below) -

I found a Suntour suspension 27.2 seat post at 350mm length.  Is this too short for a 5'11 rider with 32 pants inseam?  Also have a Cloud 9 seat on hand.  Radrover 5 expected delivery in 3 weeks after ordering. Thanks.

should be good. same setup (including seat) i'm using. i'm 6' 1"...

Service & Repair / Re: ERROR 25
October 14, 2020, 12:56:37 PM

we ran into the error 25 issue when my friend took his radrunner out for it's maiden ride. construction truck pulled out in front of him. he had to brake hard to avoid a collision. the error 25 displayed immediately after the hard braking. we went through rad's suggested troubleshooting steps and the issue was resolved...and has not been seen since.
