General Chat / Re: Pinhead Locking Skewer
September 23, 2020, 10:50:34 AM
I'm getting the skewers for my front tire & the lock for my seat pole. Looks like it works good. All it is a deterrant. It takes about 3 seconds or less to pull a seat pole out. Pinhead seems like the real deal.

General Chat / OUT of STOCK
September 23, 2020, 10:39:18 AM
I'm new to Rad. Have they always had this problem with accesories being out of stock? I'm on the emai notification list for a Rover rear rack and got no notifications that the rear racks were in stock. I found out through the forum. When I checked, out of stock again.  Seems like you almost have to check the web site every day or miss the boat.

General Chat / Re: How bike-friendly is your community?

Miami-Dada County. Florida: Bike lanes are used as a passing  lane on the right. Here you have to be very cautious. If someone hits you; nine times out of ten, they will not stick around. probably no insurance or drunk. Got a rack to go to safer trails.

This might help. Ragd now carries the tail light extension kit seperate. so if you go after market, you can move your tail light.

Ordered 2 RR Step Thrus Aug 3 for Sept delevery. Now Rad pushed it up to Oct. They don't send you updates. you have to call. They promised me updates every 2 weeks. that was 3weeks ago.
They had no problem taking my money though>

General Chat / Hitch Racks
August 15, 2020, 02:43:40 PM
I have 2 Rover Step Throughs ordered @ 71 lbs each. All the racks I looked at have a max capacity of 60-65 lbs. Only Hollywood Racks has one that will hold my bikes. And they're out of stock. There is not much of a choice out there if you have 2 Rovers. I've talked with different companies and the answer is the same. 60lbs max. Does any one have any ideas other than taking off the batteries? And with doing that its still over.
