Title: Bike Laws
Post by: rheine3 on January 20, 2020, 11:30:25 AM
We travel a lot from Florida to Texas.  I've seen more and more cities adding bike lanes and parkways for pedestrians and bikes. I was thinking these places would acquiesce to pedal assist as a welcome part of biking and commuting. In San Antonio for instance, the River Walk which extends for miles does not allow motorized bikes but they don't enforce it. Mostly, Texas is an ebike friendly state.  In my home state of MO the law is pretty clear, a motor pretty much makes it an unlicensed motorcycle and we have many trails including the KATY state park.   Not sure of the date on this report.     Bike Laws by State (https://peopleforbikes.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Ebike-US-Reg-AppendixA-updated-11_2017.pdf)
