Hello
I am new here. I was hoping someone here can help me out with a problem I am having with my Runner Plus.
Had the bike for about 3 to 4 months now. Take care of it as much as possible.
Recently the brakes both rear and the front doesn't work.
How would you fix this?
I am not sure what more info. you would need but please help me out.

This site is a wealth of great info, That being said I can't give you a competent answer, BUT, you are still under warranty, And Rad's customer support is the best, You can reach out to them as well as here, I am sure you will get some great tips and info here too.

The brakes on an e-bike will need frequent maintenance to keep them working properly. An e-bike is heavier and faster than a standard bike and thus causes the brake system to wear faster. It is not uncommon to have to adjust your brakes every couple of hundred miles or so, especially on a newer bike, depending on how and where you ride.

You should inspect your brake system at least every 50-100 miles and adjust them as needed.

I was in the same boat for a year. The Radpower instructions made it sound complicated. It's not.

The lever on the handlebar activates the lever on the caliper. If the cable won't let the caliper lever open to the stop, loosen the cable.
Loosen the two screws that mount the caliper, maybe 1/4 turn, so the caliper can slide.
Through the spokes, tighten the inner pad adjuster with an allen wrench until the pads clamp the rotor. Then loosen it a little until the wheel turns freely.

Now, if the lever on the handlebar won't apply the brake properly, tighten the cable. Then tie the lever to the handlebar so that it keeps the brake on. That will keep the caliper alighed while you tighten the mounting screws. When you untie the lever, the wheel should turn freely and silently.

I wish Radpower had explained how quick and simple it is.
