Is it a brand new or used battery pack?

I had something similar with my 2016 Radrover 11.4Ah battery.  I accidentally plugged in the wrong charger and burnt the internal fuse.  The battery pack worked as normal powering the rover; but, I couldn't charge the pack (same green light).  I had to take the battery pack apart and replace the internal fuse to get it work as normal (I think it was a mini 5amp).

I don't know if the newer battery pack have an internal fuse like the old ones?

Service & Repair / Dead battery won’t charge
Last post by rayling - Today at 04:05:40 AM
Hi, ordered new Rad charger because I lost mine and was pretty sure the battery was dead. Received new charger today and when I plugged into the wall the light on charger is green and not red. Anyone experience this happening before?  Thanks

I'd at least get some primer or a close-enough match on the rusty parts just to slow down the rusting, while you're looking for a proper colour match.

I have a small footpump but after 2,300 miles in ALL weathers within the last year, believe me CO2 is the way. Cheap as chips for an emergency and far quicker to use when its raining with a bitter cold wind blowing it down your neck!!  :)
I also keep a bottle of Slime in my storage box along with a little emergency kit/tools. Visit ebay, spend £20/$25 and you're good to go.
Also watch a few tutorials on how to use the products you buy it will be worth every second if you should need it.

Pride & Joy / Sell a Rad Bike
Last post by Mcappy - May 02, 2024, 09:43:49 AM
I'm new here.  Mu late husband had a Rad bike that I need to sell.  I am not sure the current value of his bike. I don't remember when he purchased it. But I do recall that he paid about $1200. for it. It is in very good if not excellent condition. He put a brand-new pair of nubby tires on the last fall that he was alive. Plus, the old ones still have some good tread, also has a basket for the front and a rack on the back.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Please be careful with that canal. You don't want to electrocute the fish in it and trash your Radrunner along.  ;)

Quote from: RadOST on May 01, 2024, 08:52:45 AMI think the easier way would be to write to Rad bikes and ask for the paint specifications.

True, but even getting the factory paint spec won't get you a match to your aged/faded Runner color.  Please let us know how it works out for you.

Quote from: John Rose on May 01, 2024, 06:43:19 PMThen again, maybe that's exactly what Rad did.

I love my Radrunner green paint. Can't imagine it in another color.
I think Rad power bikes did a great job with colors.
After all this is a frugal bike, not a 'dude's' bike or a fixie.  ;D
