Does anybody know how to add a second battery to a Radcity 4?   I have already attached the extra battery to the rear deck, and I how like to wire a 3 way switch so I don't have to keep on changing batteries.

The guy in the video is not using the batteries in parallel nor is he using a switch.  If you use a switch, make sure it is rated for at least 20A 60V DC.

Old thread, but still relevant.  I do not believe that the Bolton Dual Battery Parallel Connector can be used on a Rad City as it is not capable with regenerative braking systems as found on the Rad City.  Thinking the only viable solution is dual batteries wired in parallel and separated via a switch.  Regardless of what some believe, running two batteries in parallel without protection is a recipe for disaster especially when charge levels are wide causing rapid current flow from high charge to lower charge.     :o
