Title: Bafang rear hub motor grease
Post by: springer03 on March 18, 2021, 11:34:23 AM
Getting ready to swap Bolton 750w motor into my Radrover, and have read adding a little extra white lithium grease to the gears is suggested.
Anybody know what grade should be used, or if it matters?
I've found both NLGI 1.5 and NLGI 2 grade white lithium grease.
Thanks

The best best option is Mobil SHC 100 (red). Mobil-28 is also good.
I'm using SHC100.

Thanks. Should I remove, wipe off as much as I can of what is already on there or is it ok to mix?

Better to wipe off most of the old stuff.
