How much is shipping to Canada?

Wife would be more than happy with 750 watts. 500 limit in Canada could use a boost. Looking for US controllers and screens for 2 RadRunners. If you upgraded to the Bolton I'd be glad to buy your old one.

Controller locks you out at 500 watts. It's useless. The bigger motor is just excess weight.
Past me you dum dum. Americans getting the Bolton upgraded controller have 750 WATT controllers and screens gather dust in their garage. Just get one to mail you the old one for a few bucks.

I've noticed that the Canadian ebikes seem to get less efficient over 250 watts of output. AT 250 they go all day. At 500 maybe 2 hours.

I found someone who gets bikes from the same factory Rad uses and then customizes them to go to 675 to 1000 watts. I'll let you know after I get the bikes.

It seems local places have more options for evading the 500 watt limit. At 220 I need about 675 watts.500 is a battery assisted bike or you are a tiny person. My body is pretty high mileage and needs more. So I can get a custom 675 here for 2k$ that works much better than a Rad for 2800$. Rad runner with a passenger 1000 watts would be nice, 750 would be the bare minimum. I didn't try before I buy.

I'll send you a PM.

I suggest you test drive some Canadian ebikes from a local dealer.  They blew the Rad out of the water. For Rad the Canadian market is an afterthought. They put zero engineering into making the 500 watt version work properly. I made a big mistake buying one. It's premium pricing for a hobbled Ebike.

Eric, the bikes simply are not designed for the Canadian market. They suck. I tried some local ebikes and they were great by comparison power wise and cost about 500$ less. Rad are too under powered to be taken seriously in Canada. I would gladly keep the US version. But spending an additional 500$ to cahnge controllers when I could just go local and get more for less makes them pointless.

DON'T BUY ONE IN CANADA.  33% of the power that they were designed/engineered to have is gone. They are pathetic. Better to buy something lighter designed for 500 watts locally.

Lame. 500 watts is not enough. 33% of the power is missing. It chokes going up tiny hills. Really regret that purchase.

Honestly the Ran Runner Plus at 500 watts is kind of lame. If it can't hit 750 I'm sending it back.

It's clearly built to be a 750 watt bike. If you live in Canada don't bother.

Could you tell me more about how you put the headlight up top? Any drilling involved? I really want to get the basket.

RadRunner / Basket for the RadRunner plus.

So the improved headlight that turns as you turn is a great upgrade. But where can I find a compatible basket? I like to get take out and go to the beach with a passenger. I kind of need one.

Is there s simple solution?

Thanks
