Does anyone know what I should do. On my Rad City 4 commuter the problem was a blown fuse. This new battery is different. From what I have read it does not have a fuse to replace. I believe a piece of metal touched charging port which made it spark and caused it to short out. Same way I blew a fuse on Rad city 4 model and I easily fixed it be replacing a #5 fuse. This battery is completely different!

First call Rad to see if they will replace your battery on warranty.

Second, do a search on the forum for "fuse" and you will discover where the new batteries keep their fuses. You will also be able to determine if you wish to go through the effort to replace it. I certainly can't describe it as I don't have that type of battery.

If you tell Rad you shorted the charge port, they will likely decline it as a warranty replacement.

Instructions on how to replace the charge fuse are here: https://www.radowners.com/index.php?topic=1655.msg10458#msg10458 If you don't think that you can do it yourself, maybe a handyman friend can do it for you.
