Title: Radrunner basic headlight mounting bracket
Post by: Ratix on October 06, 2021, 09:15:08 PM
About 5 months into owning this bike the metal mounting loop for the basic headlight broke into 2. I since had to duct tape it to the bike so it is not dragged around by the cable. I'm still hoping to retain the ability to turn the headlight with the front wheel if possible. Any suggestions on how to deal with this issue aside from more duct tape?

You can reach out to customer support for a replacement part, especially if it's still under warranty. Otherwise, I don't know, maybe JB weld the mounting loop back together.

I in the end, used an adjustable hose bracket to mount the headlight to the bike. This is great as I prefer it higher up, but it creates an issue with the velcro cable cover, as it now has the headlight wire protruding from the cover's path and cannot wrap it around, making it a pain for weatherproofing.
