Hi All - Do you put slime in your Rad ebike Kenda tires?  Wondering if I should put slime since I'll be riding on rough trails.  Thanks

I haven't had the need for Slime yet but I'd say it's worth using if you'll be on trails a lot. Front tire isn't a big deal to replace a tube out on the trail but the rear is a bit of a pain. The other use case is for those who live in areas with goat heads or just generally a lot of debris on the road.

Before Sliming, bear in mind that the stuff dries out (the company says it lasts about two years) and implies that everyone either does or should be replacing their tires/tubes at that point anyhow.

If you don't ride enough to wear out your tires in two years, you would still have to deal with dried up sealant that would no longer do what you were counting on it to do.

With tubeless tires, you can demount them, clean out all the balled up gunk (it's a messy job), then remount and refill them, but we're not so "fortunate".

With our tubes there is no practical way to get the old stuff out, so tube replacement at least every two years is the only option (gets expensive). I don't think it would be a good idea to just keep adding new charges of fresh Slime every two years or so on top of the dried out gunk that's already in there.

Kind of makes Mr Tuffys (3XL for 3.1"-4" fat tires) a more attractive option.

I run slime and Mr tuffy liners on my Mini 4 but I also live in Idaho. We have a bicycle festival called "Boise Goathead Fest" https://www.boisegoatheadfest.com  and if that tells you anything.
