what was the end result? Any repercussions for the ass hat?
No repercussions,  could have been, my choice.
He said his foot slipped,  right.  I shook his hand and told him flip flops are not good driving shoes,  I got the stare.

So I decided to take the bike to go see fireworks  at Greenfield village. I am going with the flow of traffic,  a lady with a stroller needs to cross, the officer had traffic stopped in the other direction.
The man behind me is now blowing his horn at me, I wave , only one second. Not good enough,  he decided hitting a bike gently was a good idea, not good.
I am old, fat, and ugly.I decided it's go time.  He a third of my age, the officer heard everything.
Short story long, no damages,  the fuse in this world gets shorter every day. Be safe, love what you see, forgive what you hate.

RadMini / Code 21a
July 02, 2022, 12:28:25 PM
I live near some historic areas, so last night I decided to take a ride up to Fairlane,  Henry Ford old mansion.  I come out code 21a maybe,  bike would not power up, no glasses , pulled the battery,  ok now. . What is the 21 code if anyone knows.

All the advice has been very helpful.  Most my riding is a stop sign about every 30 seconds.
I pedal in pas 1 or 2 mostly so old bike habits had me going for leg extension. Lowering the seat has been helpful,  not as fun pdaling but much more stable.

I live in Dearborn Heights , medical reasons made me decide on my own no car. I just walk or bike. If you know of any group rides nearby I would appreciate it.

I have a Mini 4 , a little over 600 hundred miles since I got it in the fall of last year, Michigan weather shut me down for awhile.
I have never felt safe on it, balancing is hard at low speeds.  So I took my 25 year old Trek out today,  no problems with balancing, is it larger tires and a gyroscope effect that helps.

I do like my Mini, any low speed turns are not good.

Interesting, did you hire a private accident investigator?  Were you exploring evidence for possible litigation?

I zip tie mine after reading what happened to you. I use two different color ties.  Not foolproof.

General Chat / Squirrels
June 08, 2022, 07:07:27 AM
I had my Huskie escape a couple days ago, slipped out of his collar, I thought short walk no harness, wrong.. He was found about 4 miles away,  micro chip saved us.
I no longer drive due to medical issues, so I got on my Rad mini 4, 52 miles on past 1, 2 hour charge another's 40.

My question is why are squirrels attracted to the sound, I know dogs like the high pitch motor noise.  I live in a squirrel rich area my horn, bell do not intimate them.

I left my doors open so I woke up to no dog, a squirrel  on my table, they are pretty friendly,  2 bites got him out.

Mine is all metal, ordered from Rad. It?s did come with several rubber shims to choose from. It came loose a few times. I had to use loc-tite to keep it fixed. I?m guessing the threads on the clamp are not quite within tolerance.
Mine is the Gub plus 6, all metal,  except it came with a rubber attachment that goes underneath the main holder. The problem is the thumb screw to secure the phone loosens constantly.
I live in a area where 3 Native American tribes actually took there canoes to a place  called Council point.
They conspired with outside elements to take over Fort Detroit,  they did
So, short story long, I was going to see Henry Fords mistress horse track.

I found it, did my bike get me there, no, did I lose my phone yes.

Quote from: Muskie1 on May 20, 2022, 09:05:09 AMI have had my bike for about 10 months and have bought many things,  my first buy was the bike, bad decision on the model I chose, I bought the mini 4 , not the step thru out of vanity because of color and not wanting a girls bike.

All wrong,  60 years old and getting on the bike did not work out well, 4 falls, one crash.  All falls getting on it, get a step thur..

I agree with your advice; I faced the same choice and after briefly considering "girl's bike" I bought the Mini StepThru2.  No regrets at all, my knees appreciate it and I'm old enough that I really don't care at all what others think, as I pass them going up hills.   8)

I also have the Gub phone mount and love it; holds my Samsung S10e even in a thick Otterbox case, but I'm curious why you don't like it?
Mine constantly loosens, and the rubber straps are a pain for me. I only have one hand with good dexterity.  Most of my rides are circular, many stops.

I agree, good bike for the price,  My point was not a bike for minimal support without a dealer by.

I only have a few hundred miles on mine,,  I bought a cheap bike, good reviews.
Question is not a  about  the month it took to get customer support.

She can not buy a Rad, I just need a other option.
