RadMission / Re: Rad Mission Kickstand
September 18, 2021, 04:24:08 PM
I had ordered the BV also https://amzn.to/3lQWoRO, had it a week before the Mission arrived. However, due to a day delay in the Mission being delivered, Rad threw on a kickstand for free, so I will assume the stands are back in stock as of September 12th, 2021. I returned the BV, just received refund confirmation. That covers the tax not refunded on the $200 price drop refund I also received for the Mission.

RadMission / handlebar extender
September 18, 2021, 04:18:20 PM
Just put on a handlebar extension, needed to wrangle the light attachment a bit to work, as the new stem is a couple millimeters wider, but all seems fine. This is the extension I got, the 110. Also needed a spacer of a couple millimeters.

RadMission / Re: Fender failure
September 18, 2021, 04:09:36 PM
I have a RadMission now and it has the fenders, but have a similar story with my "acoustic" bike from 3 years ago. Riding to work in the morning, woke up 3 hours later in the hospital. A branch went in the spokes and crushed the fender into the front tire. I was standing as I was going downhill, so flipped straight onto my head, according to the damage on my helmet and head. Fenders on my acoustic bike now break away at the nut if something crushes it, so the fender won't stop the tire. Thanks for this Rad fender info.

Hello,

Brian in Vancouver Canada. I had an assembled Rad Mission delivered a few days ago. 3rd 12 hour balancing charge finished up this morning, been on 3 short rides, about an hour and a half each, one pushing the bike using assistance 1 and 2, the last one letting the bike do the work using assistance 3 and 4. I never sat on an ebike until the Mission was delivered. I have been a 21-speed commuter for years, but lately found myself disinterested about heading out on my bike on my days off from my labour intensive job. The Mission will make that happen no problem, the bit i have ridden it lets me know it will be fun. I have a bike stem on the way to raise the bars, got the fenders, back rack, kickstand and comfort seat added by the Rad Assembly Team.

I will be asking some maintenance questions, as I plan to get the Rad Mobile crew over once a year to change things, but need to know how frequent changes may be needed for stuff like brake pads and the chain. The Mission will only get 200 -300 a month and I ride all year long, but it will be pushed as far as hills, and I am used to having to change pads, chains and gears every 6 months on the 21-speed acoustic bike. Anyway, that is for another thread perhaps, for now..

Hello.
