I did not cut any zip ties or adjust any cables, just the light position flipped upside down.

I have the back rack and the ABUS lock on my RadMission without issue. They can kind of be seen in this thread https://www.radowners.com/index.php/topic,1717.0

before adding the riser, I just tried the angle stem, as seen in this thread. Note how I have set the light, it remains like that to this day https://www.radowners.com/index.php/topic,1401.0.html

RadMission / ABUS Adaptor Chain
« on: January 10, 2022, 01:08:58 PM »
I was able to purchase the Abus Wheel Lock 5650L NR from RadPowerBikes.ca but the ABUS Adaptor Chain had been continually out of stock. So, I ordered it from https://www.bikeinn.com/ December 3rd and it arrived today. I will use it to lock the front wheel to the Abus Wheel Lock on the rear wheel. Also picked up a handlebar water bottle holder. With the bike seat lock https://www.radowners.com/index.php?topic=1436.0 , I believe I have all the security I can muster for a bike covered.

Got the seat lock, very pleased. I now see the seat itself is one allen key away from being removed from the post, so I will put some glue in the hole to stop a key from being able to be used unless the hole is cleaned out.

you will need to get a stem extension to raise the handlebars or you will be hunched over way too much, or in a very awkward position for balance, look at the RAD Mission promo video with the 5 or 6 riders, including one tall guy, it does not look comfortable for him, or at least not safe for a quick move if needed. I am 5'10" and had to get a riser to raise the handlebars, and it is 80% better, but the angle of the bar itself is not natural, but usable, when raised, so will need to be replaced in the future. Out of the box, the handlebars cannot be raised.

RadMission / Re: Fender failure
« on: November 10, 2021, 04:01:33 PM »

Fenders on my acoustic bike now break away at the nut if something crushes it, so the fender won't stop the tire.

those break away nuts... is that a feature of the replacement fender, or something you worked out? seems like a nice failsafe.

It is a feature called a Release Tab which I just learned from the Planet Bike website, fenders section https://www.planetbike.com/bike-fenders/ , as mine are Planet Bike fenders. If something sticks into the spokes now, the wires will break at the release tab and the fender will not get crushed up and jam the wheel.
