From what I  read you can ride on bike paths, you can't ride on sidewalks and certain highways.
As to which model you get, city or RR6 well the bigger the tire the harder it is to pedal. I am 59 years old and weigh 280 lbs, I recently rode my RR6 5 miles on a very hilly road with no battery assistance,  it was a workout but I got it done.
If you are only going to be on pavement and are not real heavy, go for the city with narrower tires  I ride a lot of gravel and love my 4" fat tires.

I would recommend riding a Lectric before you jump ship. A friend has a brand new one that I have worked on and ridden. I wouldn't trade my RR 6 for one.

My wife found a large waterproof grill cover at a bin store that covers both of.our RR6's and fits nicely. Price $1.00

It does work, however for only 2 or 3 mph you aren't gaining much.

I put a Cloud 9 seat on my RR 6+ and it made a world of difference. I am 280lbs so I  went with the spring suspension seat. I have not decided whether to get a suspension post yet.

Tree, ebikes weren't even on our radar last summer. We were camping in September and rented a SOB bike and got hooked. A month later these crazy sale prices forced our hand. Originally I purchased them for $1599 thinking that I got a great deal, the week that I received them they dropped another $300. I called customer service to see if they would refund the difference since we were in our free trial period, they said "Sure" and credited me $800. I  am not sure why I got $800 instead of $600 but hey, I will take it.
We love the bikes.

We purchased our RR 6+'s for $1199 US in October of this year.  Great value in my opinion.

I purchased 2 rover 6+ when they were marked down to $1599 a savings of $400. A few days after receiving my bikes I see that they are marked down to $700 off, I called Rad and asked if I could get the new sale price since I was in the 14 day free trial period and they said "no problem" and refunded me the difference.
How's that for customer service.

Ended on the 27th, don't know when it will be offered again. Glad I bought my bikes and rack before it ended, I saved alot $$$$.
