They took her money for the bike on July 3rd, and then additional funds on July 21st when she upgraded from from the 5 to the 6.
They are not responding to her emailed questions as to delivery.

She does NOT want a refund, just the bike.
Any suggestions?

My friend continues to receive conflicting/confusing information on her RadRover 6 Plus Step-Thru - Charcoal order.
On the 6th, she was told that her existing order was cancelled and a new order was created and a bike would be shipping in 3 to 5 business days.
When she called today to find out the shipping details, she was told it might ship in mid-November, but they weren't certain.
....or it could show up without warning if experience is any indication.
So she's missed the entire summer of riding and still unclear if she will see it any time soon.

We are seriously starting to wonder how long Rad will be in business if they are this messed up handling both of our orders.

Almost the same as my situation, where they sent me a second bike after I received my order, she was mistakenly sent a white RadRover 6 Plus Step-Thru (should have been Charcoal), which after a week or so of screwing around, they finally let her send it back since it was the wrong color.  I'm wondering if that, or something else, sent her to the back of the queue.

All of this sadly smells of a situation where Rad barely has their act together due to explosive growth, etc.  We'll see what happens, but I'm not very hopeful for her.

Huh, well, I guess they are not shipping in the order that they were ordered.
She's in Michigan, like me.

So much for being able to use both of them for our vacation.  Rats.

Anyone had a RadRover 6 Plus Step-Thru - Charcoal shipped to them yet?
I have a friend who ordered one a 5 back on (Charcoal) back on July 3rd and then upgraded to the 6.
Like to take hers and mine on vacation this year, but starting to look like that's not going to happen.

OK, the second one was finally picked up Friday.
Only took me about an hour on the phone (including on hold) and a day off from work (so I could keep it from being stolen before FedEx showed up).

They mentioned reimbursing me for my time, we'll see what happens with my request.

OK, it appears that this is settled with them reimbursing me.  Whew, hope they don't send any more bikes that I don't buy.  I like the one I got!

Just received a second RadRover 6 Plus Step-Thru.
I ordered one.

Once again, no email received about the shipment, but I guess others have noted that problem.

Now I get to even more of my time spend time fixing yet another error by Rad.

I don't want to sound like a complainer, but they seem to have some serious problems in the order fulfilment area.

Hi and congrats on the new Rad Rover 6.... but just to clear some things up... you originally ordered 1/one and mistakenly received a second one ??  What country are you in? USA I'm going to guess , and not Canada.... ??  So you have to send the 2nd one back now ??

Yes, in the US and trying to send the second unordered one back.
Be nice if they took care of it promptly, but that doesn't seem to be the case so far.
This document from the government says I can legally keep it as a free gift, but I'd rather not be an as####e about it:

Big thanks.

Purchased Mirrycle MTB Bar End Mountain Bicycle Mirror, delivered today, installed and tested this evening.

Bang.

Issue solved and no more stiff neck.  At least from that... ::)

BOGO is a heckuva sale!   :D

I'd be funnier (OK it is funny) if I didn't have to do things to fix their screwup.

It is a white one, just like the one I ordered, assembled, and started riding.

Very nice!
Thanks much for The simple solution. I guess I wasn't thinking about the fact that they could fold in.
Cheers!

RadRover / a mirror for my Rad Rover 6 Plus Step-thru.
September 17, 2021, 10:25:04 AM
The kink in my neck today tells me I need to look into a mirror for my Rad Rover 6 Plus Step-thru.  No pun intended.
Rad has a mirror of course, but that mirror is compatible with all ebike models except RadRover 6 Plus and RadRover 6 Plus Step-Thru.
I'm guessing that is due to the fact most of the handlebar space is taken up with the grip, brake and UI Remote.

I know there are mirrors that attach via the ends of the handlebars, but was hoping to avoid that method since the storage I have for the bike would make that a prime candidate for getting whacked when I store it.

Any ideas?

Can't seem to find that info anywhere.....
Thanks for any info you might have!
