Title: Lock for RadRover 5
Post by: Smokey on February 11, 2021, 09:39:53 PM
Few different types of bike locks....D-Lock, chain, cable, folding. I am leaning towards folding for ease of transport. Any recommendations?

The folding type are sturdy, but heavy, and mount handily on the Rover's water bottle mount

Depends on what kind of area you live in and how worried you are about theft. I really like offerings from Abus and Kryptonite. If the price isn't an issue the Abus Bordo 6000 Alarm is great: https://ebikeescape.com/abus-bordo-big-6000-alarm-review/

I also reviewed the Foldylock Compact which has a sold secure silver rating and is a bit cheaper than some: https://ebikeescape.com/foldylock-compact-review/

And I'd agree with Dan, the folding locks that mount right to the water bottle cage are super convenient.
