The bike is a Rad 6+.

The semi-integrated battery does not charge. The charging light is green. There are no lights on the battery. I have tried the shipping mode release. The charger works on my other battery. The internal battery has the black plastic wrap. This one does not have the same fuse as the blue wrapped battery. When plugging the charger in, I get 48v on the end of the battery (outside connection). It diminishes quickly when I unplug the charger. I have left it on the charger for several hours with no change. I have not tested each cell yet. I used my DMM for continuity on the soldered in tiny little fuses with no issues. I noticed there is a "RST" hole in the BMS. like other known batteries I tried touching the "RST" with the "GRD" and it did not reset.

Has anyone had success in reviving or fixing this black wrapped battery that does not seem to charge?

I have a Radrunner 2 that the brake pads look pretty thin.  What type of brake pads are recommended for this bike? It looks like there are several options and should I just get them off of EBAY?

2 year old Rad Rover 6+ Full battery. The display goes through the check with no errors. Both displays seem normal. Twisted the throttle moved forward a few feet and stopped. Both display correctly. I turned it off and back on and with the same results. Tried to pedal it and assist isn't working either. I haven't any idea where to look first. Has anyone experienced this? Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone, I was hoping you might be able to help me out with an issue I'm having with my Rad Mini 4. I've been riding it pretty hard for about 4 years now (honestly way harder than it was probably designed for). Recently I've noticed that the bike seems to have lost a lot of its power in assisting me. Hills where I didn't have to pedal at all before, I now have to pedal hard with it on max assist. I run multiple batteries with it and the power loss is consistent regardless of which battery I have in. So here are my questions:
1. Is there a way to test my current motor with a multimeter and if so, what should the readings be if the motor is in good running condition?
2. From the research I've done, it appears Rad does not have a true 750 Watt Motor. If I buy a true 750 Watt Motor, will my stock controller be able to work with it or will I need to also replace the controller?
3. Will a non Rad true 750 Watt Motor come with plug and play Rad Bike Connections or will I need to cut the connector off the old motor and wire it in?
4. Where is the best place to purchase a new motor? Rad wanted $395.00 for a complete new rear wheel and motor and doesn't sell the motor separately.

I appreciate any help you can offer me. I'm definitely not opposed to modifications that could get me a little more power out there too. Thank you in advance for your help.

I have same issue with my Radrover 6 Plus from yesterday. Throttle/PSA quitted mid ride.

1. I've noticed that the brake light sometimes stays on even when I release the brake pedal. I adjusted the brake, and I also tested it after disconnecting the brake cables, but the issue persists.

2. After disconnecting the throttle cable, I turned on the engine, but the PAS still didn't work.

3. No error on display. I could see an error code when disconnecting the thick cable that connected to the motor near the rear wheel.

Any recommendation?

We have a Radrover 6 plus, the rear tail light blinks very dim and the headlight does not come on.
Switch operates and the tail light stops blinking. 
Anybody have any ideas ?

Hi All,

I followed the instructions and used the menu button to get to the trip time and trip odometer. However, they cannot be reset.

I pushed the menu button and it asked if wanted to reset; I used either the up or down power button to move the reset answer to "yes" then pushed the menu button again and the display went back to original screen. When I went back to the "trip" screen the old data was still there.

What am I doing wrong?

Need more info. Is the issue too hard to pedal the hills you want to climb, or its easy enough to pedal but too slow up the hill.

If it's too hard to pedal up the hills, a smaller front sprocket will make it easier. The opposite for the other, a bigger sprocket will make it harder to pedal but give more top speed. I have nothing to offer on motor mods, other than installing a more powerful one. But more power means less range.

I recently purchased one of the blow-out $999 RadRunners. If I ride it enough and decide to upgrade the new Max is tempting. Also the easy option for dual batteries.
