Makes me wonder what the real numbers are in the country. Those who bought these bikes for commuting vs Boomers who just bought another toy. I know I fall in the latter category and what I can tell make up the majority. Even the guy on Bolton Bikes claims this makes up most of his customer base.

Forgot I started this thread, been awhile since I've been on this site. I actually found what I was looking for and have it posted on the Radrover topic with multiple pics.

Saw a Rad Mini at a campground and was going to get one until I seen the Radrover. Looked online and the same price, a no brainier to me unless you absolutely have to fold it or you are really short.

Just like a regular geared bike. The lower the gear the easier it is to peddle up a hill. I was able to climb a super steep grass hill in first gear with peddle assist 5. I was just playing around but it was steep enough where the front tires were not firmly planted.

RadRover / Radrover and the F-150

If any you guys have the Radrover and own a Ford F-150, Rockymounts makes a bike rack system designed specifically for your truck bed. It is rated for these heavy bikes and is mounted in the optimum location. Wish I could post some pics but it won't allow me. Anyway it works great.

General Chat / Radrover Front Skewer Size

Hey I want to order a spare 135mm front skewer for my Radrover. Does anyone know what I need? I am somewhat confused about the diameter when looking at these. Thanks

Service & Repair / New Radrover 5 Motor Shuts Down
October 12, 2020, 10:16:35 AM
I have had my Radrover for almost 3 weeks and have put on over 200 miles. Almost every time I ride at least once the motor just shuts off. This usually happens when I start to pedal again from a complete stop, also the throttle will not work either. This only lasts a few seconds before the motor re-engages but it is enough time to get yourself in trouble. Any ideas, sent an email to RAD late last week, haven't heard anything.

General Chat / Re: Lets track delivery schedules
October 09, 2020, 09:10:39 AM
Ordered my RR ST1 July 31st, just got the FedEx tracking number. I see in a previous post someone ordered July 26th and received theirs a couple weeks ago. What sucks is I planned a vacation out of town for 4 days and the bike is supposed to be delivered during that time.

Just received my ones from Etsy today and they work fine. They are quite easy to put on and take off. Thanks to this forum for discovering these, a needed item when transporting my bikes.

I would go to etrailer.com and ask the question?

General Chat / Radrover Seat
September 26, 2020, 03:03:23 PM
OK I am a new owner of the Radrover 5 awaiting the ST. Love the bike but come on this seat is a piece of garbage. Put 40 miles on it off-road and my ass is killing me. Luckily I had a decent seat on my older bike and it is a hundred times better. Too bad my old seat post with suspension tube is too wide otherwise I would have hit the jackpot.
