Service & Repair / RR5 New Motor Not Working
January 31, 2023, 06:12:27 PM
Just replaced the rear wheel assembly which includes a new motor. The old one I removed was still working but the new one doesn't. When I press the throttle I can feel a little surge and the display shows some wattage but that is it. Any ideas?

RadRover / Radrover and the F-150
December 14, 2020, 09:05:49 AM
If any you guys have the Radrover and own a Ford F-150, Rockymounts makes a bike rack system designed specifically for your truck bed. It is rated for these heavy bikes and is mounted in the optimum location. Wish I could post some pics but it won't allow me. Anyway it works great.

Service & Repair / New Radrover 5 Motor Shuts Down
October 12, 2020, 10:16:35 AM
I have had my Radrover for almost 3 weeks and have put on over 200 miles. Almost every time I ride at least once the motor just shuts off. This usually happens when I start to pedal again from a complete stop, also the throttle will not work either. This only lasts a few seconds before the motor re-engages but it is enough time to get yourself in trouble. Any ideas, sent an email to RAD late last week, haven't heard anything.

General Chat / Radrover Seat
September 26, 2020, 03:03:23 PM
OK I am a new owner of the Radrover 5 awaiting the ST. Love the bike but come on this seat is a piece of garbage. Put 40 miles on it off-road and my ass is killing me. Luckily I had a decent seat on my older bike and it is a hundred times better. Too bad my old seat post with suspension tube is too wide otherwise I would have hit the jackpot.

General Chat / Visited a Bike Shop Yesterday
September 11, 2020, 12:51:44 PM
My Radrover is set to ship soon so I visited a local bike shop to look at a new helmet. Got to talking to the owner and one thing led to another and I had mentioned I recently purchased a ebike online and would be receiving it soon. He responded and said I hope it isn't one of those RAD bikes. Well I answered yes, his reply from a bike mechanics point of view was he just didn't like them. He didn't elaborate much nor did I expect him to, he did say they should be a lot of fun but you are basically on your own when it comes to service. But to be fair that is his policy with any online bike. This does have me somewhat concerned though with no RAD service in my geographic area.

General Chat / Fork Mount for Transporting Radrover
September 07, 2020, 12:41:18 PM
I have 2 Radrovers on order and need to carry them in the bed of my truck with the tailgate closed when towing my camper. I would like to be able to remove the front tire and secure the front fork on a fork mount. I have read where they don't recommend that for ebikes due to the weight. Has anybody tried this with success, don't want to damage anything?
