Runner in the Snow
« on: October 28, 2020, 04:00:39 PM »
We had 6 inches of snow this past weekend so I couldn’t resist taking the Runner out for a ride. Did great on the flats or downhill but just spun trying to go uphill. Maybe a ski attachment in place of the front wheel.

Let’s see more winter photos of the Runner

That's a lot more snow than I rode in!
What tires do you have? Is it the Kenda with the checkerboard pattern?

They are the stock rad tires for the runner and mini.

I'm on the fence about buying the rad runner because of winter and the inability get cleated tires of that custom size...

What are your experiences of maneuvering the RadRunner in snowy conditions? How does it handle on black ice, does it steer well, brake well, how does it ride on hard-packed or trafficked snow?

Also, for those of you in closer climates, what is the battery performance like in colder runs (-10 to -15°C or 5 to 15°F)?

Thanks from Montréal!
