2017 radcity pedal assist disc

I have a 2017 Radcity the pedal assist disc broke and rad does not carry the 6magnet discs anymore, does anyone know where to find a 6 magnet replacement disc for this model?

It's too bad Radpower won't at least point you to a source. I had the same problem when three of their spokes broke. I asked where to get replacements and they ignored me.

That one looks like you could move, add, or subtract magnets to get 4, 6, or 8 evenly-spaced magnets. I can't figure out any other combinations.
If you need more magnets: There is a computer & table-top gaming store near me that sells neodymium magnet disks as big as 20 mm or so, and as small as something like 2 mm diameter. They're used to make small models and figures with interchangeable/moveable parts.

As an afterthought - do the speedometers/odometers use the cadence sensor to derive the speed and distance? If that's the case, then the number of magnets is probably important.

The speedometer sensor magnet can be on a spoke but on rad bikes is in a part of the motor assembly that turns whenever the wheel turns.

AFAIK, the cadence sensor just tells the controller when you are pedaling. I wonder why the number of magnets matters.

Thanks I had no idea what the answer was for that, just the reading I have done is that the spacing seemed to matter

Of course, what was I thinking.  If you stop pedalling and coast or use the throttle, it still shows up as speed and distance.
