Just wondering that we go far from home if adding slime to inner tubes is worth it

My personal opinion is this varies depending on where you live. If you have goatheads where you live or plan to go off-road I'd say most definitely. Generally in any dessert climate it's a good idea.

We live in Wisconsin, have never had any flats and don't use slime.

The owner of Velofix (partnered with Rad) recommended that I get Tannus Armor foam inserts. I don't plan on getting flat, but when I do I'll buy some of these for sure.

Interesting, I haven't seen these before. Looks like Amazon sells them for around $40 each: https://amzn.to/3ctKfuL I guess if they work well that's probably worth it.

I live in the land of goat heads. They are everywhere. My mountain bike is tubeless, unfortunately don't have that option with rad rims. So I'm looking forward to trying the tannus armour. I hate tire anxiety!
