Bought this to be used with my foldable lock:

Not much experience yet but gives a lot more piece of mind than if I just used the foldable / U lock alone.

What about the battery life? Controller sucking faster and more amps from the battery than before.

Found few new paths again...

Just noticed that the resolution is... Low. Let see where I could upload so the photos looked better..

Edit:
Service provider #1 did not work with Tapatalk... Going to the next one...

Sounds interesting, especially that Blynk part. I guess it would let you use gps tracking also? How about weather proofing it, and what location did you put it? And what price did it have?

I am still considering the same, but the price tags on ready products are still quite big. And it should have both alarm and gps tracking. Until then I will trust my lock (just one), luck and insurance company. :)

Yeah, that user Rady seems to have only this single post on this forum... And never came back after that. :)

And that video from Youtube user Stan I posted here earlier... He seems to be riding his Rad still, no news about his DIY ebike though:

Service & Repair / Re: Possible controller problems

Would this be something similar?

Could be the settings being messed up, bad controller, bad throttle... Or the wires.

Now that looks good. Real DIY work with a good taste. Did you paint other parts too?

In my RadRhino it is the same thing. Most what I'm worried about is that mud or dust is gonna go inside the holes and stuck there. Then at some later time when you want to add f.ex. the Rad basket you have to clean the holes first. And that will not be fun job to do... So I added just 4 screws there and probably will paint them black too.

But best thing here is that you can customize and fix it just the way you like yourself. ;)

Finding alternative paths. :)
Have to say these 4" tyres work pretty well on muddy paths.

I highly recommend studded tires. A must thing for the next winter for my Rad. At least to the front wheel. Just flipped around after finding a nice icy spot on the road... Luckily Rad survived with minor scratches, but riders clothing not.. ;)

Of course there are lot more Rad owners out there. Not all are on this forum or even in internet. If it just works, no need to complain on Facebook or internet forums. ;)

I'm wondering how the frame, chains etc. will take the torque and speed... Also would be good to use higher voltage battery (and BMS?) if I have learned anything about ebikes.

It's called the Yyteri beach on the west coast of Finland. Beautiful place, especially in the summer time. https://youtu.be/NHcGnPi43_Y

That day it was actually the first real winter day here on west coast area on this year so I just had to go test how my Rad can handle the snowy condition. There was around 5 cm (2 inches) of fresh sleet snow at the time and more coming all the time. And the bike did well, totally fulfilled the expectations I had for this bike. :)

Haven't tried the MTB routes yet though:
