RadWagon / Re: RadWagon 4 Kickstand Springs

I received the original springs from Radpower.

However, during the interim, I discovered a good way to keep the kickstand up without the stock springs.

I discover this by accident. I put an elastic cord on the bike to keep tension on the kickstand.

A friend of mine came over and took off on the bike. The kickstand worked with just one elastic cord.

So, I mounted two and it seems to work better than using the springs.

Seems to be a good idea.. For me, one of the springs is broken and the stand is doing okay so far on the 2nd spring. Will use this option if my replacement springs from Rad do not arrive in time..

Which car do you have? I was able to carry the radwagon inside my mini van (odyssey).
Also came across this rack which would support radwagon weight (as mentioned previously, it will need a 2" hitch though): https://www.harborfreight.com/400-lb-receiver-mount-aluminum-motorcycle-carrier-62837.html

The Yepp Maxi does not fit over the cargo bags. I didn't pay enough attention to this and wish I had. I wonder if Rad is going to come out with cargo bags that somehow work with this setup? Rad says that the pannier works with the Yepp, but when they are reasonably full they smush my child's feet and don't work if the seat is in the back and the bags in the front. Note in this set up you can only have one child in the seat and the bags, another child's legs don't fit comfortably with the bags.
Hi, actually, we were able to fit the ballard bag with 1 Yepp maxi on the RW4. Please see attached pic.. Hope this helps people in a similar situation.

We use our Roswheel panniers all of the time with both our Yepp seat and the caboose. Works great: https://amzn.to/2VfTKdS

They aren't too long but still provide a ton of space.

Hi Ryan,
Thanks for the pointer. Do you put the panniers in front of the Yepp maxi or the other way round? Would really appreciate if you could post a pic of the setup.
I am considering ordering these.

I bought these: https://amzn.to/31a8nik

They fit perfectly in grove on the bike where the pegs are supposed to go. The down side is the screws they come with are not long enough so you will need to go to the HW store and get some longer screws.
Awesome find! I got the same pegs. Used the following screws from HD and they fit perfectly:

I already have the ballard cargo bags on by Radwagon 4. Does anyone know if ther Yepp Maxi would fit over them? I am planning to buy the Yepp Maxi next but just want to know if someone has used both yepp maxi and ballard bags together?
