No name, yet...

The Rad Display protector came from: http://www.etsy.com/listing/846589238/rad-power-bike-screen-cover?gpla=1&gao=1&

What appears to be the rightmost light is actually a Hornit electronic horn (for when the polite bell doesn't do the job): http://us.hornit.com/products/hornit-db140

The fuzzy thing on the far right is a combination dribble wiper holder (a wrist sweat band) and a soft tip electronic device button pusher for when I ride with gloves on (I made it from a plastic gluing clamp).

On days that hit 90+ºF in the afternoon, I often ride at night instead. Each light has its own strong points, I'm trying to narrow it down to a couple in addition to the stock Rad, which is mounted low and angled down ~20' in front of the bike so I can turn everything else off and not blind people I approach on trails at night (unlike what some a--holes do to me).

I vote for Colossus, or Dreadnought!

Thanks sc0pecr33p,

I attached Rad's answer.  Yours was more concise. :)

One other question, if you don't mind.  I'm trying to decide between the two models.  I'm 65 y.o., 5'10", 265 lbs.  Basically, a fairly clumsy old man. :)  Would you recommend that I buy the step thru or would the RadMini be better.  I realize I'm a sexist old man, but when I see step thru, I think girls bike.

Jim

Jim one more tip. If you don't plan on using the folding feature of the bike, you could look at the RadRunner Plus which has a step-through as well and looks a bit more masculine. ;-)

The step-through bike is considered a gender-neutral bike. A man or women can ride it. I would recommend the step-through to mount and dismount easier. Keep on truckin sexy!

I own both. Purchased in 2021. They are the same, even the tires.

That's crazy cool man! It's a beast. What did you name her?

You have 2 Garmin devices, 6 light sources and some thing I can't identify on your handlebars and a cover for your screen. What's with the box around your screen?

That looks awesome. Where did you pick them up? I also dig your saddle bag. Nice bike. Thanks for sharing.

I replaced my stock handlebars with 5" riser handlebars that I can adjust back or forwards to my liking.  They have worked out quite well for myself.

Would love to see a pic!

Jim,

What do you have your cables wrapped up with? I don't want to use tape so was wondering your solution.

RadMini / Reverse Stem on RadMini Step-Through 2
August 24, 2021, 01:15:25 PM
I recently reversed the stem on my wife's radmini step-through 2. She was complaining about her arms hurting after her first ride. Her arms had very little bend to them. After adjusting the normal points on handlebar and seat, she was still experiencing pain. After reading a suggestion from @nirdlobkin from an older post, https://www.radowners.com/index.php?topic=175.msg600#msg600 I found I could "reverse the polarity" on this sucker to bring the handlebars closer to her.

I think this did the trick. She hasn't complained about her arms the last few rides. One drawback to this change is when collapsing the bike, the handlebar post does not close as tightly. I don't think it is a major issue but it does cause the collapsed size to increase slightly.

I also think it looks a bit cooler this way, I've thought about reversing it on my radmini 4 but still debating in my head.

If anyone has done this, I would love to know your experiences and see some pics.
