Title: Bolt placement for front rack
Post by: pepperjohn on March 01, 2022, 01:20:34 PM
Greetings. I have a non-Rad bike and its bolt placement on the head tube look very similar to Rad's. I wonder if I can use Rad's front rack/front basket on my bike. Can anyone provide center-to-center measurements of the four-bolt arrangement for me? Mine are about 36mm x 110mm. Thanks in advance :)

Looks like you might have a bit of trouble on the long end.

Looks like there is room to elongate or re-drill some holes. The rack is made of really stout aluminum. Not beer can thin. The mounting plate is probably 1/4 inch thick.

I use the RPB front basket on my RW4, I also added a stainless dual water bottle holder in a sandwich, It is an RPB accessory on Amazon.  I know the standard screws weren't long enough.  I think they are M5's, I used 25-30mm length bolts.  It's a nice setup.
