Title: Radwagon 4 motor controller current limit question
Post by: neoworm on September 15, 2021, 02:54:12 PM
Does anyone know the current limit for the stock radwagon 4 motor controller. It doesn't appear to be written on there and I can't seem to find any info on the internet about it. Thanks

I believe the stock motor controller is limited to 22 amps. I believe it is printed on the underside of the controller. That's what Bolton Ebikes said. They also sell a 35 amp controller which can give more power for hill climbing and or carrying stuff so I'm going to consider the controller upgrade eventually. I don't want my Radwagon 4 to go faster, just want it to go stronger.

Stock US spec Rad controller is 25A but software limited to 17A. EggRider can override that to 24A.

Thanks. I've got a 2020 Radwagon 4 and the sticker on the controller has no amperage information whatsoever.

In any case i've been pushing 19amps and so far no issues.
