i just picked up a 6" long piece of 2.5" x 1/4" aluminum U channel that I'm going to use for building something similar. i haven't decided what'll be mounted to it yet though. i am seriously considering locating my LCD display on the one side.

you should be able to mount a basket to the deck, though you may have to bolt though the deck rather than directly into the frame. in that case you may want to make a copy of the deck first.
one of the things i'm doing is adding some hefty bungy cords to a milk crate by bolting them on. this way the basket will be removable

a 11/4" hitch is pretty small, you should be able to sleeve it with an adapter, but if you did i would keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't flex out and get damaged. the weight of your heavy ebike and the hitch will put a lot of stresses on it

so I have the bug... I've been looking at drive trains. since I've had to replace both wheels, and the rear derailleur and shifter I'm thinking about putting one of those big fancy sram eagle setups on the bike. assuming that my hub can accept a freewheel is there any reason why this wouldn't work on a radwagon? then, since many of these groupset kits come with cranks and bottom bracket does anyone know what specs for sizing I would need to look for in order to buy something that will fit in my frame?

I found a pad I'm going to re-purpose for my back rack so that i can haul passengers if i can manage to put together a deck top.

should only be another week or two for my front forks to arrive. I'm stoked.

has anyone used a frame mounted lock for their wheels? something like this:

I'd like to have a couple on my radwagon, but apparently this style are often a pain to mount. Ideally I would get one that someone has successfully mounted previously.

you could move your one deck hand back, and add a different handle for the front kid. my plan is to use a stem  mounted on the seatpost to host a mini handlebar for my passengers

yeah, I've been hoping to get a front rack, but i don't know what the timelines are looking like. i heard that the Canadian site has been even worse for stocking things than the American one

Service & Repair / RadWagon decking?
September 19, 2020, 02:14:06 PM
I don't have a desktop for my red wagon. So I'm looking for something I can use to copy one. If anyone has one that could photocopy one end of so that I can trace it onto some plywood and build one that would be great if you could PM me or something I would really appreciate it

i'm sure it must be possible to build a limiter button, that you could engage/disengage at will in order to limit yourself in the places where you can be caught?
#43
Yeah. I'm pretty sure you could get a 3" tire. And maybe even a but more, but 4" won't fit between the front forks.
#44
how wide a tire can i put on my radwagon? there are a set of terrene cakeater 26x4.0 tires/wheels up on the local craigslist anologue and they look pretty sick...
