As some of you may have read I have been having a very bad experience with RAD since last June 3  when I got my new City 5+ which worked for about 10 minutes and has been in the shop since.  I would like to send the current CEO a e-mail documenting my ongoing experiences without rancor just the facts. Anyone know their name or better yet the e-mail address?

I think I would like to e-mail the CEO of RAD documenting my experience. Anyone have the name or e-mail?

Well I received my 5 city+ on June 3 and after a 10 min ride it died with error 21. Took it to a RAD certified repair shop and after a 1+ month wait they sent bad parts which resulted in error 30. Now August 17still waiting on parts to replace the parts that sent the first time. This is what RAD calls customer service???

Still waiting on parts! Bike was delivered June 3 and worked for 1 hour.
This is how RAD treats it's warranty and customers???!!

I would much rather laud Rad's bikes and brag about mine than cry about my purchase. My Rad City5+ I bought 2 months ago has been in the shop for 7 weeks now and still does not work. First error 21 and now after a new controller (thanks Rad) I have error 30.

Mine had error 21 and I replaced the controller and battery mount bracket. Now it shows error 30?? Bad parts?

Still a bad purchase experience for me. Bike repair Teck got a new controller and battery mount in . Installed the parts and error 21 went away but now it's showing error 30??!!! Damn thing is over a month old and I have gotten to use it for all of 5 min. Should have just bought lottery tickets with the money!

Well Rad sent a new controller and battery jack on bike. The Teck installed them and code 21 went away and now it's code 30!!???
Teck says the new parts are faulty and is now trying to get Rad to respond. Damn thing is brand new and I got to use it for 5 min! Now it's over a month old and past the allowed time for a return.

Well the approved Tek I took the bike to has informed me that Rad sent him a e-mail apologizing for their customer service issues and stating that they were working on fix's. They are also sending him a new controller and covering it all under warranty. They said there would be some delay as the part was on back order. So we will see.

Not only could it damage your battery it could cause a fire. Lower amp and voltage on the chargers can be gotten away with sometimes but with Lithium batteries it is always best to stick with what your given by the Mfg. Read some of the articules even here in the forum about it.

I have been trying to get support for several days. I have sent 2 emails. I finally got a standard reply the last email sent asking to describe my problem which I had described in the first email.  Might I add that I had called for days before the email.  This is so not like the support which I had received in the past.  I have bought 4 bikes from Rad and numerous accessories.  I will not purchase in the future nor recommend Rad until it changes.  Meanwhile, what am I to do about this issue? I live in an area that the bike shops have very little experience with e-bikes much less Rads UGH!  I will probably have to drive over 100 miles to the one shop that I found that says they work on Rads.   This is a RadCity 5 plus that has the issue now.

I have the same issue. I bit the bullit and took it 80 miles to a Rad certified shop but I think they are having a problem getting hold of anybody at Rad?

Keep us posted on your journey returning the bikes. Do you have both the delivery box's. What did you tell your CC folks ? Poor product with no response? Please excuse my curiosity but I fear I will be in the same boat here in a couple of days.
