Title: RadWagon rear protective screens
Post by: DutchRadler on March 07, 2022, 10:06:28 AM
Hello,

I am very happy with my RadWagon. Meanwhile, I have cleaned the bike every 2-3 weeks depending on the weather. My question is:

Does anybody have a solution to cleaning the protective screens on the rear wheel? The inner sides, that is.
Or is there any trick with demounting those screens?

I want to clean them, as the dirt "piles" up with every rainy day. Any suggestions are welcome.

Kind regards

Harry

Maybe a long-handled bottle brush, something like this?

I don't have an RW, so this is just speculation.

Dear JimInPT,

That is a good thing. I did not think of such a thing. Thank you for your idea. I will purchase one.

Kind regards

Harry

You're welcome.  You might want to double-check the diameter of the bristles to make sure it'll fit between the tire and the screens - there are smaller-diameter bottle brushes available if needed; the one I linked says it's too large to fit into a beer bottle, for example.
