- Custom Self Powered and Charging Horn
Very nice for getting car's attention. Custom 3d printed case that attaches to the front rack mounts. Charges with the USB port on the display. This took a while to figure out. It has a small 500mah battery that is kept topped off by the USB port using a small LiPo charging board. The button is wired to power the horn from the 3.7v nominal battery, which powers the horn. The horn is rated for 6V, so it's not as loud as it could be.
The link and the description look like two completely different horns. How is the one in the Amazon link "self powered and charging"?

It looked like any ordinary horn. thanks for the extra info inside the unit. I will definitely buy one since it can be a standalone unit. I might even wire one up on my coworkers office chair.

I also liked the look of that shifter.

That ain't necessarily so.
I shave with razors that are 50-100 years old, they out-perform modern cartridge and disposable razors, and (most amazing of all) you can still get blades for them, at a cost of a penny or two per shave. I have a few modern ones too, but they're styled after the vintage ones and have interchangeable parts.
My 40-year old electric kitchen stove is primitive too but you can still repair it.

I just noticed that the automatically-added "Rad's New Lineup Is Here" final post is gone now.
Not that I'm complaining.

I don't think you could find one small enough for the UI Remote.
Also, the button-mashing subjects it to considerably more force than tapping on a touch screen.

One of my favourite (even more so than duct tape) DIY sekrit weapons is plumbers strapping. It typically looks like this:

Super strong, yet easy to cut with metal shears or bolt cutters and easy to bend by hand or with pliers. It comes in various widths and materials, such as mild steel, copper, and galvanized steel. Of interest for this project is the kind that is coated with PVC, so as to minimize scratching the finish on the handlebar.

The smaller holes should be big enough to get the threaded part of the screws through, but small enough for the heads not top slip through. You could also use washers with it too.

Maybe not very elegant to look at, but it should be secure enough until you find a 3D-printed one.

Or, you might get lucky and find one of these molded PVC pipe straps in the right diameter, or slightly bigger:

It should be on a shelf near the other kind of strap. If it's slightly bigger diameter then you can put a strip of inner tube rubber on the inside, or build it up with PVC tape.
[edit] Oops. It just occurred to me now that the part you are trying to replace fits around half the diameter of the handlebar, so it's only a half circle on the inside. The PVC pipe strap is designed to fit the full diameter of a pipe, so it's a half circle plus parallel extensions. A sheet metal one could be more easily bent to fit.

Oh - If you do have one printed, and it's printed with filament, have it be printed on its side (not upright like an arch), because the horizontal layers are more easily split than the other uh ... directions? ... dimensions?.
If it's a resin printer, then I have no idea.

Tapatalk is on the list still to fix. I like that it makes the forum super easy for mobile but on the downside, we can't show ads which means there is less chance of direct support from users that use Tapatalk.

I have a 2023 radrunner 2. It's been nothing but trouble, and they voided my warranty becayse there was mud on it (it was a rainy week, but they considered that improper maintenance) the problem this time is something is wrong with the electrical system. I need an aftermarket replacement for every wire and tge controller, and I can't find any information on specs.

A quick Google implies the problem is with Tapatalk not Simple Machines.
A quick sharing of information rather than assumptions and a reply with attitude would have helped make this a friendlier conversation.
It worked until recently pretty well for me and conincided with changes to the forum. I am all ears for solutions though, if you have one, be my guest.
Poor choice of words on my part. I just meant that when I did a quick Google. It implied that the problem was with the Tapatalk app and not in the forum part. My bad if I sounded rude, it wasn't my intention.

I appreciate your response. TT is a great app but the support behind it is questionable and often fails, but in this case this might not be on them.
