Pride & Joy / Riding in the Frozen North B.C. Canada

Rad Mission ride , I went up to a golf course on a plateau above where I live. This area is semi desert and we have small cactus and even the rare rattlesnake. It is about a 900 ft. altitude gain to where I went. I did not have to stand up once out of seat nor push on any hills. I am 79 and am very impressed with this bike.

Just an idea if you have a rack, front or back . Buy lithium motorcycle battery like I have on my motor cycle.
Run your extra 12 volt accessories off of it.

General Chat / Shockstop Stem
January 04, 2021, 10:10:18 AM
I have on order non suspension Ebike RadMission !. I am trying to find out the stem diameter in mm and the handlebar diameter in mm.
I have done a lot of research on them and I think it would be a very worthwhile addition

I have had a lot of experience video taking while Hang Gliding and curently Paragliding, I used GoPros . Hang Gliding was easy mount on the down tube. Paragliding I had a chest mount backup parachute which gave a real stable view and great footage. I just recently purchase a Garmin and they have a small one that has excellent sound inspire of being in a case. The real plus with a Garmin you have the capability to record and view things like speed , route etc.
As for mounting while Ebiking I may have to McGyver it. Just got Garmin and it is winter here so haven't got to try it but have viewed others and am really impressed.

Why the change,At first I had the idea of a means of retrieval to get my car when paragliding. But I would have to leave it unattended near the landing field.
Far too much of a temptation to a thief.
I am going to be riding mainly paved and bike lane roads. We have many many miles of old railroad tracks that have been converted
into bike and walking routes. The bigger bike was just overkill. The big plus is the 50 lb.weight. I can put that on a regular bike rack or just take the front wheel off and put it in the back of my Subaru.

I am 78 yrs old , still farily active , fly paraglider still , kayaking , motorcycle and photography.
I have been researching bikes for quite a time. I put in an order for a 1000 watt fat tire bike and put
a small returnable deposit on it. Then after doing more research and getting a brain wave that at my age
I should slow down some. I came across the Rad Mission 1 . More research very few videos on it.
Finally bit the bullet and ordered one which should arrive early 2021. Maybe this forum could add a place
for like owners of th Rad Mission 1. Funny thing I was born in Mission B.C. back in the last century.
