Title: Bracket and Foldylock?
Post by: revdvd on November 06, 2021, 02:04:47 PM
Hi.  I've had my RadCity StepThru for 2 weeks and logged 149 miles so far. Probably took 3 years to log that much on my regular bike.  My question:  if I buy the Cascade Front Mounting Bracket, will I be able to attach and easily insert and remove my Foldylock Compact to one side (and a water bottle to the other side)?  I'm not sure I've found any other good spot or way to attach the Foldylock to the bike. Thanks for any suggestions.

I have that bracket on my MiniST for two water bottles.  The mount points mimic the standard water-bottle mounting lugs, so if the lock mount is designed to attach in place of a water bottle bracket it should work fine.  Keep in mind it might cause interference between the lock and the front cables when the front wheel is turned toward its limits; my water bottles brush the cables but it's not an issue for me.
