Title: Connector wire at the crank ?

Just received my my bike and cant find what this is for?
And how many of you have taken there for a check over at a bike shop for the to look over?
My local place will do it for $60.00

I had one of those too. I never figured out what it did. My guess is the controller is configurable for different applications. I replaced the controller with one that doesn't have that plug.
