Rad Modifications / Runner Plus+Instep trailer
November 18, 2021, 07:53:31 AM
There were no attachments that worked with the bike, so I just had to modify the part as I saw some other Radrunner owner did. You need a step drill bit to make the smaller hole 12mm, and saw/grind to make room for the hex.

Anyone else with a trailer? If my daughter likes it, I may buy a burley.

RadRunner / Re: Passenger backrest ideas?
March 19, 2021, 08:25:12 PM
I would love to see the side rails for the rear passenger like they do with Radwagon. My daughter will outgrow the thule yepp childseat around age 5, and I need something safe after that. Any suggestions for kids around 5 yrs old is appreciated.

Yes, Plus. As you said, I needed all of the accessories anyways. It made more sense to get the Plus.

Wow!! The suspension looks awesome !!

Thank you so much for the feedback. I ordered the Plus for all the reasons you told me and I am so excited. I did order the Thule yepp seat for my daughter. It's great to hear that the kids enjoy riding with you even when they're bigger. Thanks again!!

I do hear that it's solid but I'm concerned because I will have my child in the back of Radrunner plus. I wish it was a double kickstand. Do you think it's a non-issue?

Thank you so much. Sc00ter. Very helpful. I also agree that they're both great options. I just have to decide while the inventory lasts.

General Chat / Rrunner1 or Plus
January 20, 2021, 01:40:53 PM
Hi guys. Thank you in advance.

I want to put my 2 yr old in the back, go shopping, preschool, gym, grocery shopping, occasional trails...Dallas area, so no big hills. I need fenders, the clear guard thing for the back. Front rack, nicer seat.

The rep says the side kick stand (plus) is strong and should not be a problem loading the child. But obviously the double stand is better. I don't think i can install the double stand on Plus?

The Rrunner plus bing 10 lbs heavier worries me as a woman or maybe it shouldn't matter? 65 or 75 lbs, I guess same difference? The possibility of maintenance issues with the gear also worries me, but then almost all rad bikes have gears. I'm not rich but I can afford both.

Does anyone have a strong opinion like "I regret buying ***", "I would definitely go with ***"? Anyone with kids on either of these bikes?

Thank you, Ryan. OMG did i post it in the classified?? Jeez. Sorry. Is it okay if I copy and past it to the general discussion for more inputs or are you able to transfer it?

I really appreciate your input. The Wagon is good even with only one child, and if not, just go for the radrunner. I didn't think about the rear seat weight capacity. Duh. That's really helpful. I'm so relieved to see there is a forum for rad bike people.

General Chat / Which bike for a child seat

Hi moms and dads

I want to ride in the suburb of Dallas, TX with a 2 year old in the back. Not many hills but I want to get a radrunner plus in case we move to a hilly town in the US. But the plus is out of stock and they don't know when they will get more. I don't want the Wagon because it's too long and I won't have more kids. Could you guys share your opinions and experience? Also if you have any suggestions outside the rad power bikes, under $2000. Thank you.
