Velofix?
« on: November 02, 2020, 10:59:56 AM »
Anyone have any experience with Velofix? (They do appear to operate in South Florida.)

Do you know if they service Rad bikes?

https://www.velofix.com/

No issues with our new Rad City bikes, but would like to locate a servicer BEFORE I need them. Snooty bike shop near my office that sells $5,300 e-bikes advises that "we do NOT work on other companies' e-bikes."

Another local bike shop is friendly and did a really good job on the assembly of both bikes, but not at all sure he's the guy for e-bike electronics and motors and so on. So I want to know my options.

While I have no personal experience I have seen a lot of people happy with Velofix. They are a preferred service provider for Rad Power Bikes. Keep in mind that the things that are likely to need routine maintenance will are still normal bike components. Any bike shop will be able to work on these components as there is nothing unique about them. brakes, derailleur etc. Whether they choose to is as you pointed out, is a different story.
