The frame around the stock battery looks like it would allow a battery pack with one more layer of cells. It would be great to get a little more range out of it with something like a 17.5Ah battery for example. Anyone know or tried this yet?

My disappointment in the front rack was twofold. The threaded mounting holes are somewhat of an odd dimension. Also the pipe diameter they used is larger than the rear frame members (on my city anyway). Wanted to use an MIK adapter on both the front and the back. The odd dimensions prevented direct bolt on and the MIK clamp feature can?t be used on the larger pipe diameter.

That link is to a dedicated thumb throttle not a 3d printed?  I have the set off ebay. Works fine. Comes with a key fob and battery covers. I like it. The thumb button slightly gets in the way and keeps you from grabbing the whole grip when your not using it but, you can?t have both. I think the covers could be improved if they had a loop molded in to thread a cord or strip of velcro through to hold them on or tie it to keep them from getting lost. Otherwise it?s a decent kit for the money. 

Whats a 2 x Are they 26 or 27.7 because the look like 26?? to me but, I thought the website said 27.5??.

I have 26 x 2.25 Big Apples on one if my other e-bikes and they are very nice. Comparatively I don?t know other than they ride nice and no flats yet.

Thanks for the tip. Can you post a picture? I had to change my wifes seat and its black. The brown grops are now ikind of out of place. I was considering replacing but if the OE isn?t too ugly I might just peel the faux leather off abd save some cash.

Absolutely.

I?m surprised they don?t offer a repair service on this as a customer courtesy even if you have to pay for it. Would be far cheaper than a new battery and everyone benefits from it including the environment. From what I have read a simple SMD fuse replacement is easy money. Certainly not worth the cost of future business.

Mine were terribly noisey.  I found the right size wrench at my LBS and tweaked them all. Two were the worst. Quieted it completely down. Nice and smooth. No run out at all on the rim. Just the tire. Rolls sweetly now. 🙂
