Title: Rad Owners Forum and Ebike Escape Update
Post by: Ryan on June 07, 2020, 09:00:37 AM
Hi all, hope everyone is staying safe. I wanted to provide a little update with what's going on with the Rad Owners Forum, Ebike Escape and me personally.

Rad Owners Forum
We recently crossed 700 registered users! To be honest I never thought it would grow to be this big. Thank you to everyone who has joined and those who continue to share information with others. I try my best to respond to everyone I can but I am by no means an expert in all aspects of ebikes. There was a point at which I wasn't sure the forum was going to work out but my initial premise has held true. Many people are familiar with the large Rad Power Bikes group on Facebook. One of the main problems with the Facebook group is the search functionality which is why I created this forum. It is public on the web and thus indexed by Google. The result is we don't often have people asking the same question over and over and we have a great repository of information.

Ebike Escape
Ebike Escape (https://ebikeescape.com/ (https://ebikeescape.com/)) launched officially just a few months ago officially and was created to cover ebikes and ebike accessories more broadly.  I also have a YouTube channel and I'm work towards my goal of 1,000 subscribers: https://www.youtube.com/ebikeescape (https://www.youtube.com/ebikeescape)

Personal Update
I, like many others have seen the impact of the current pandemic as it relates to my full-time job. At least for the time being Ebike Escape and the Rad Owners Forum will be my primary focus. Many are aware that my recommended accessories page (https://www.radowners.com/index.php/topic,104.0.html (https://www.radowners.com/index.php/topic,104.0.html)) uses Amazon affiliate links to help support what I'm doing with electric bikes. I am contemplating modifying other Amazon links throughout the forum to affiliate links to hopefully bring in more revenue. If anyone feels strongly against me doing this please let me know.

As always if you're purchasing an electric bike please consider using clicking the Rad Power Bikes ad on this site or
clicking here
before making your purchase. This earns me a commission on the sale and in turn allows me to continue to offer content related to electric bikes. If you're considering another brand of ebike I also have a discount code page which features discount codes for other reputable ebike brands: https://ebikeescape.com/ebike-discount-codes-by-company/ (https://ebikeescape.com/ebike-discount-codes-by-company/)

Thanks for being a part of the community and as always please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks Ryan! Really appreciate this - this forum certainly confirmed my decision to go ahead and buy my RadRunner in the first place!

Evening from central PA Ryan!

Great job on taking a chance on something you're passionate about and trying to share information with all us newbies to Rad in particular and e-bikes in general.

Trust me as I have experience in web site design and such so do not feel the least bit guilty about trying to generate income for your time and effort.

I would encourage everyone to use the links and help a brother out. Feel free to turn any link I might post into an associate link for your self or if it points to a different site but there is an amazon link available then replace my link. You have my permission 😜

I haven't even gotten my bike yet and have been asking questions so thanks to everyone that has answered any of my posts and especially Ryan for being a source of truth as best to your knowledge.
