LCD display failure

Display suddenly went blank and Rad Rover 5 lost power. Shop diagnosed need for new display. Installed Rad display, however, the new one only have 4 pedal assist levels instead of 5. Problem: Pedal assist 2 feels like 3 or even 4 on the original display, it is way to fast. Has this been a problem for anyone? Is there a remedy?
