Hello Everyone. This is my first time posting here. I have been trying to get a hold of Rad Power and have yet to get a response from anyone, I recently got in an accident and one of my cables broke. ( I think it goes to the display screen ). Anyway. I am trying to find out what part I need and how and where I can purchase this piece. I have attached, a picture of the broken part so if anyone can give me the part number, etc. it would be greatly appreciated.

If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't try to chase down RadPower parts. My Radrunner 1 was running like new when I installed an aftermarket controller 30 months ago. My complaint was that the power was a third less than advertised, and so was the torque. Avoiding hills limited where I could ride. The new 35 amp controller doubled the power so it's a third more than advertised.

I had to buy a KT-LCD8H display to go with it. If either the controller or the display ever fails, replacement shouldn't cost more than $100 or so. They're available from https://electrobikeworld.com and https://area13ebikes.com and others. I'm not certain that the controller I bought is compatible with all Radrunner models. In case you're not sure from the website description, they answer email quicker than Radpower.

The biggest hassle of changing controllers was dropping nuts and screws in the grass. Subsequently, I sometimes had trouble with moisture. If the pavement was wet, the front tire would throw a mist onto the controller, and the new one wasn't as well sealed as the original. I fixed that with RTV.

Through the display you select options to match the controller to your motor and to suit your preferences. The vendor may have instructions or a link to the display manual, or you can find out here.

When the controller was new, sometimes I'd pop a wheelie when I gave it throttle to get underway. It was safer to start out not sitting but standing with most of my weight on the right pedal at bottom dead center, and the rest of my weight on my left foot on the ground. I learned to program the controller for gentler starts.

Here are a couple of Amazon links to various e-bike cables that might help you out if you can't get one from Rad:

Also, if you could unscrew that connection and add a photo to the end connector so we can see how many pins and how they are arranged, somebody might be able to refer you.  Don't forget to at least estimate the cable length you'll need, I think these come in various sizes but I've never bought one.

Good luck!
Shucks Ma'am, I'm no "Hero Member", I just like to wear this cape.
